Description

The MSA 2070 is a 2U large form factor shared storage array with 12 x 3.5" SAS-3 drive bays and two controllers, each with four 16Gb Fibre Channel ports, giving 8 FC host ports in total. This configuration is supplied without drives, so you can populate the bays to suit your capacity and performance requirements in a 16Gb FC SAN.

The array is part of the 7th-generation MSA family, with MSA-DP+ advanced RAID, redundant hot-plug 580W power supplies and management through the MSA Storage Management Utility (SMU v4). It can be expanded with up to nine MSA 2U LFF or SFF expansion enclosures to scale beyond 7 PB per array, and supports Windows Server, VMware vSphere, Red Hat and SUSE SLES environments.
