Description

The HPE P82200-B21 is an OCP enablement kit for the ProLiant DL325 Gen12 that reroutes OCP Slot B to the Front Primary OCP 3.0 slot (Box 3, Bay 3). It moves NIC ports to the front of the server for easier access, which suits racks where cabling and servicing are done from the front.

The Front Primary OCP slot uses a PCIe 5.0 x16 connector in the OCP 3.0 form factor and supports shared-NIC and Wake on LAN. Front placement also offers better NIC cooling conditions, and the kit fits the DL325 Gen12 flexible drive cage design with front OCP 3.0 capability.
