This ProLiant DL325 Gen12 Performance air-cooled heat sink kit is built for the HPE ProLiant Compute DL325 Gen12 1U rack server. It is specified for processors with a default cTDP of roughly 260-300W, giving higher-wattage AMD EPYC configurations an air-cooled option without moving to closed-loop liquid cooling.

The Performance heat sink pairs with the Performance Fan kit (P71958-B21), and seven fan kits are required for all DL325 Gen12 configurations. An air baffle is also required with the standard and performance heat sinks. For CPUs of 320W and above, HPE offers a closed-loop liquid cooling heat sink as the alternative.
