Description

The HPE ProLiant Compute DL580 Gen12 2SFF U.3 Drive Cage Kit adds two front small-form-factor NVMe-capable drive bays to the DL580 Gen12 4U rack server. It installs in the optional front Universal Media Bay position, giving you U.3 drive capacity at the front of the chassis for storage-dense or performance-focused configurations.

The Universal Media Bay can also provide an optional front DisplayPort, two optional USB 2.0 ports and an optional optical disk drive. The Box 1 position must be unused to install this kit, and cable kits are configured automatically based on the drive cage and riser selections made for the server.
