Description

The HPE ProLiant Compute DL580 Gen12 8EDSFF drive cage kit adds eight EDSFF NVMe front drive bays to the DL580 Gen12 4U rack server. The bays are direct attached, so no RAID or HBA storage controller is required, which suits high-performance NVMe storage deployments.

The kit installs in the Box 3 drive cage position and can be combined with an 8SFF x4 cage for mixed EDSFF and SFF configurations using the matching cable kit. Up to four front drive cages are supported per server, and the DL580 Gen12 supports 2P or 4P configurations.
