The P80427-B21 is an OCP 3.0 Slot A x16 enablement kit for the HPE ProLiant Compute DL580 Gen12 server. It enables the rear OCP 3.0 Slot A with a x16 PCIe 5.0 connection, so an OCP 3.0 network adapter can be installed in that slot alongside the default Slot B.

The kit suits DL580 Gen12 builds that need a second OCP network adapter or additional OCP-based connectivity. It can also be paired with OCP-based storage controller cable kits that use OCP A and/or OCP B. Compatible adapters are listed in the DL580 Gen12 QuickSpecs.
