Description

This 3.84TB NVMe Gen5 SSD delivers PCIe Gen5 performance in the dense hot-plug EDSFF E3.S form factor with an EC1 carrier. Built on the Samsung PM9D3a platform, it is a Read Intensive (RI) drive rated at 1.00 DWPD, suited to mainstream server workloads such as databases, virtualisation, analytics and content delivery where read performance matters most.

The drive supports digitally signed firmware and SPDM for hardware-level security, and is intended for supported HPE Gen11 and Gen12 server platforms. TLC flash, a single port and hot-plug serviceability make it a practical capacity and performance upgrade for E3.S-equipped servers.
