Description

The HPE P77277-B21 is a Primary Front OCP enablement kit for the HPE ProLiant Compute DL340 Gen12, supplied for the GPU CTO chassis configuration. It routes the OCP A network signal to a front-panel OCP 3.0 slot (Slot A), so the NIC can be cabled and serviced from the front of the server. As the primary front slot, it provides NCSI shared-NIC support.

The kit uses a PCIe 5.0 x16 interface with a x16 connector and fits the modular DL340 Gen12 design, which supports front and rear OCP 3.0 slots. Primary and Secondary Front OCP Enablement Kits must be selected together when configuring the server, and only the Primary Front OCP slot provides the NCSI sideband.
