Description

The 3.2TB NVMe PCIe Gen5 Mixed Use SSD in the EDSFF E3.S 1T form factor with an EC1 thin carrier is built for HPE Gen11 and Gen12 servers running mixed read and write workloads. It is based on the SK hynix PE1030 controller and TLC flash, delivering up to 11,038 MiB/s sequential read and 6,416 MiB/s sequential write with high IOPS per watt.

SPDM support and digitally signed firmware add a hardware-level security layer, while full data-path error detection helps maintain data accuracy. The E3.S form factor allows higher drive density than 2.5-inch SFF drives, with improved thermals, power and scalability for high I/O applications. The drive is hot plug and rated at 4.03 DWPD.
