Description

The HPE ProLiant Compute DL380 Gen12 2U 2x16 Tertiary Riser Kit is a PCIe riser for the DL380 Gen12 rack server, providing two full-height, full-length x16 PCIe slots in the tertiary riser position (Option-1). It is designed for deployments that need extra expansion capacity for high-speed network adapters, HBAs and accelerators such as GPUs.

Slot 7 runs at PCIe 5.0 and Slot 8 at PCIe 4.0, both with x16 bus and x16 connector widths. The slots are driven by Processor 2, so a second processor must be installed to use this riser. A maximum of one tertiary riser is supported per server.
