The ProLiant Compute Gen12 Multipurpose Drive Cage Kit is a front drive cage option for HPE ProLiant Compute DL3XX Gen12 servers, covering the DL340, DL360 and DL380 Gen12. It is required to fit 4EDSFF drives, front OCP or a front NS204i-u boot device in the SFF/EDSFF CTO server chassis, giving you a flexible way to configure the front of the server.

Each kit provides 3 slots, with a maximum of 3 kits per chassis. The cage fits into a front box of the chassis, and the number of cages needed depends on the number of boxes installed. It works alongside related Gen12 options including the 4EDSFF Drive Cage Kit (P76450-B21) and the NS204i-u Front Enablement Kit (P74759-B21).
