Description

The ProLiant DL340 Gen12 8SFF Secondary Front OCP Enablement Kit is a server enablement kit that adds the secondary front OCP 3.0 slot to an HPE ProLiant Compute DL340 Gen12 8SFF server. The OCP 3.0 slot is PCIe 5.0 x16, allowing a front-accessible OCP 3.0 NIC to be fitted to the 8SFF configuration.

The kit is selected as part of the Backplane, Drive Cage and Enablement Kit choice and suits the modular DC-MHS design of the DL340 Gen12, which supports OCP 3.0 at both the front and rear. It can be ordered as an option or included in a factory-integrated build starting from a CTO server.
