The ProLiant DL320 Gen12 GPU enablement kit allows up to four single-width GPUs to be installed in the front GPU cage of a compatible HPE ProLiant Compute DL320 Gen12 server. It suits GPU-accelerated edge and inference workloads on a compact 1U Gen12 platform where adding accelerator capacity is a requirement.

The GPU cage covers PCIe slots 3 to 6 and supports either four single-width GPUs or two double-wide GPUs, depending on the configuration. For installations with one or two single-width GPUs in the front, HPE guidance is to populate PCIe slots 4 and 6 and place the Ethernet adapter in PCIe slot 1. Where a 25 Gb or faster Ethernet adapter is fitted, a high performance fan selection is required for cooling.
