Description

The Intel Xeon 6787P 86-core server processor for HPE Gen12 ProLiant servers delivers a 2.0 GHz base clock, up to 3.8 GHz max turbo, 336 MB L3 cache and a 350W TDP. Built on the performance-core (P-core) Xeon 6 architecture, it suits compute-intensive workloads such as virtualisation, databases, analytics and high-performance computing where core count and memory bandwidth matter.

The processor supports 2-socket scalability, DDR5 memory at 6400 MT/s or MRDIMM at 8800 MT/s across 8 memory channels, and PCIe 5.0 with up to 88 lanes. It is validated as an HPE option for ProLiant Gen12 servers. When fitted to the HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen12, the Redundant Fan Kit (P47219-B21) and Second CPU Fan Kit (P47902-B21) are required.
