The AMD EPYC 9655P is a single-socket (1P) 96-core, 192-thread server processor for SP5 platforms, supplied as an HPE option. With a 2.6 GHz base clock, boost speeds up to 4.5 GHz and 384 MB of L3 cache, it suits AI, HPC, database and business-critical data centre workloads.

Part of the AMD EPYC 9005 Series, it supports 12-channel DDR5 memory at up to 6400 MT/s and 128 lanes of PCIe 5.0 connectivity. The default 400 W TDP is configurable between 320 W and 400 W, and AMD Infinity Guard and AMD Infinity Architecture provide security and platform scalability.
