Description

The AMD EPYC 9565 server CPU delivers 72 Zen 5 cores and 144 threads at a 3.15GHz base clock with up to 4.3GHz boost, a 400W default TDP and 384MB of L3 cache. Supplied as an HPE option kit for ProLiant Gen11 servers, it uses the SP5 socket and suits cloud, virtualisation, analytics and HPC deployments where core density and memory bandwidth matter.

This 5th Gen EPYC 9005 Series processor supports 12-channel DDR5 memory at up to 6400 MT/s and PCIe 5.0 with 128 lanes, with a configurable TDP range of 320 to 400W. AMD Infinity Guard security features are built in. It is a processor only, so a heatsink or fan kit must be sourced separately.
