The AMD EPYC 9845 server processor is a 5th Gen EPYC 9005 (Zen 5c) CPU for HPE ProLiant servers, with 160 cores and 320 threads, a 2.1GHz base clock, 3.7GHz maximum boost and a 390W TDP in the SP5 socket. Its high core density suits virtualisation, cloud and other heavily threaded data centre workloads.

Each processor provides 12 channels of DDR5 memory rated to 6400 MT/s and 128 PCIe 5.0 lanes, with 320MB of L3 cache. It is validated and supported by HPE for HPE ProLiant DL325 Gen11 and DL345 Gen12 servers and includes AMD Infinity Guard security features.
