The HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen12 NS204i-u Rear Enablement Kit is a server boot device enablement kit that installs an HPE NS204i-u hot-plug M.2 NVMe boot device at the rear of a ProLiant ML350 Gen12 chassis. As the rear enablement option (as opposed to the front enablement kit), it keeps front drive bays free for data drives while providing a RAID1-protected NVMe boot option.

The kit supports the HPE NS204i-u v2 NVMe hot-plug boot optimised storage devices in 480GB, 960GB and 960GB SED capacities. It is designed specifically for the ML350 Gen12 and suits organisations that want a dedicated, mirrored operating system boot volume separate from their primary storage.
