This standard CPU heat sink kit is built for the HPE ProLiant Compute DL340 Gen12 2U rack server and supports processors with a TDP of up to 250 W. It is the cooling option for standard-TDP Intel Xeon 6 processors in CTO configurations such as the SFF chassis with up to two 8SFF kits or up to four 4EDSFF kits.

Heat sink selection depends on the chassis configuration and processor TDP. Processors above 250 W up to 350 W, SFF builds with three 8SFF kits or more than four 4EDSFF kits, and LFF builds require the High-Performance Heat Sink Kit (P73668-B21) instead.
