The 8SFF x4 U.2 NVMe drive cage kit adds eight small form factor NVMe drive bays to the HPE ProLiant Compute DL340 Gen12 server. Each bay is cabled with x4 PCIe lanes, giving high-performance NVMe storage capacity at the front of the chassis for database, virtualisation and other I/O-intensive workloads.

This kit is a supported drive cage for the DL340 Gen12 SFF server, making it a straightforward way to configure or expand a DL340 Gen12 build with NVMe storage. It is intended for SFF (2.5-inch) NVMe drives.
