The Xeon Gold 6538Y+ 32-core 2.2GHz 225W processor is a 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable (Emerald Rapids) CPU supplied as an HPE kit for ProLiant Gen11 servers. It delivers 32 cores and 64 threads with a 4.0GHz maximum turbo frequency and 60MB of cache, suited to virtualisation, database, analytics and general enterprise compute workloads.

Supporting 2S scalability, 8 channels of DDR5-5200 memory and 80 PCIe 5.0 lanes, this processor suits dual-socket Gen11 servers that need high core counts and strong memory and I/O bandwidth. Built-in accelerators including QuickAssist, Data Streaming Accelerator, In-memory Analytics Accelerator and Advanced Matrix Extensions help offload crypto, data movement, analytics and AI inference tasks.
