The Intel Xeon Platinum 8580 server processor delivers 60 cores and 120 threads at a 2.0 GHz base frequency, with a maximum turbo of 4.0 GHz and a 350 W TDP. Supplied as an HPE option kit for ProLiant Gen11 servers, it suits dense virtualisation, AI inference and high-performance computing deployments where per-socket core count and memory bandwidth matter.

Built on the 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable (Emerald Rapids) platform, it supports two-socket scalability, 8-channel DDR5-5600 memory up to 4 TB with ECC, and 80 lanes of PCIe 5.0. Intel AMX and AVX-512 acceleration, 300 MB of cache and 20 GT/s UPI links round out a processor aimed at demanding data centre workloads.
