Description

The 96GB DDR5-4800 registered server memory (RDIMM) is part of the HPE DDR5 Smart Memory range, qualified and tested for HPE Gen11 Intel-based ProLiant servers. This Dual Rank x4 module runs at PC5-4800B-R with CAS-46-45-45 timings and EC8 ECC, delivering higher bandwidth and improved reliability over DDR4 for memory-intensive virtualisation, database and analytics workloads.

Supplied as a single 96GB kit, the 288-pin DIMM operates at a low 1.1 V for better power efficiency. It is intended for Intel-based Gen11 servers such as the DL320, DL360, DL380 and DL380a, where 96GB DIMMs are supported on XCC processors. If the installed CPU supports only a lower memory speed, or the DIMM is mixed with slower modules, all DIMMs run at the lower speed.
