Description

This 6.4TB NVMe Gen5 Mixed Use SSD uses the EDSFF E3.S form factor in a hot-plug E3.S 1T Thin Carrier (EC1), built for HPE Gen11 and Gen12 servers on select platforms. The PCIe 5.0 interface and 3 DWPD mixed-use endurance suit analytics, cloud, HPC, database and virtualisation workloads, delivering 216,271 random read IOPS and 527,456 random write IOPS (4KiB, Q=16).

TLC flash, a single-port design and digitally signed firmware (SPDM) support secure, reliable operation in enterprise and data centre deployments. The 7.5 mm E3.S format enables higher drive density, with room for 20 drives in a 1U server and 36 in a 2U server, while helping reduce power per server compared with earlier form factors.
