The AMD EPYC 9454 server processor delivers 48 cores and 96 threads on the SP5 socket, supplied as an HPE-branded option for compatible HPE ProLiant servers. With a 2.75 GHz base clock, boost up to 3.8 GHz, 256 MB of L3 cache and a 290W default TDP, it suits virtualisation, database and other high-core-count data centre workloads.

This 4th Gen EPYC 9004 Series (Genoa) CPU supports 12 channels of DDR5 memory at up to 4800 MT/s and PCIe 5.0 with 128 lanes, giving ample memory bandwidth and I/O for storage, networking and accelerator expansion. It supports both 1P and 2P configurations and offers a configurable TDP range of 240-300W to match different power and thermal budgets.
