Description

The HPE P52751-B21 is a 2SFF drive cage kit for the ProLiant DL320 Gen11 1U server, providing two front 2.5-inch bays with an x4 Tri-Mode 24G U.3 interface and Basic Carrier design. It occupies the front bay space in place of the Universal Media Bay and supports NVMe U.3 or SATA drives, giving 8SFF DL320 Gen11 builds additional fast local storage.

The cage can be direct attached or connected through a supported internal storage controller using the 2SFF Tri-Mode cable kit. One controller can serve both the 8SFF x1 U.3 backplane and this 2SFF x4 U.3 cage when the matching cable kits are selected. The 2SFF bays form a single Intel VROC SATA RAID drive group.
