Description

This Intel Xeon Platinum 8480+ processor option kit is a 56-core, 112-thread 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable (Sapphire Rapids) CPU for HPE ProLiant Gen11 servers. It runs at a 2.0GHz base clock with turbo up to 3.8GHz, a 105MB L3 cache and a 350W TDP, making it suited to virtualisation, AI/ML, HPC and large-scale data analytics workloads.

Built on the FCLGA4677 socket with four UPI links at 16 GT/s, the processor supports DDR5-4800 memory and PCIe 5.0 on the Gen11 platform. It can be deployed in dual-socket configurations on compatible ProLiant DL360 Gen11, DL380 Gen11, DL380a Gen11 and ML350 Gen11 servers.
