The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen11 2LFF Rear Primary Riser Drive Cage Kit adds two 3.5-inch large form factor drive bays to the rear Primary Riser position of the DL380 Gen11 server. It suits deployments that need extra LFF storage capacity without moving to a larger chassis, and it supports connection through a storage controller or direct attach.

When direct attached, the cage supports SATA drives only, connected to the SATA port on the motherboard. A maximum of one kit is supported per server, and it is selectable with 8LFF and 12LFF CTO server configurations only.
