Description

The HPE P41636-B21 is a stand-up 4-port 10/25GbE SFP28 network adapter built on the Intel Ethernet Controller E810-CAM1, with MCLK support for precision timing. It uses a PCIe 4.0 x16 interface and is designed for HPE ProLiant DL110 servers that need high-bandwidth, low-latency connectivity and accurate time synchronisation.

IwARP and RoCEv2 RDMA reduce latency and CPU load, while VXLAN, GENEVE and NVGRE tunnel offload suit overlay networking. SR-IOV, VMware NetQueue and Microsoft VMQ support virtualised workloads, and DPDK support helps with packet processing and NFV deployments. Hardware root of trust, authenticated updates and secure boot help protect the adapter firmware.
