The HPE RPS1600 JG136A is an external redundant power system that takes AC input and supplies multiple DC output lines to back up or supplement the internal power supplies of compatible HPE switches such as the 5500 series. This listing is the RPS1600 chassis only; the JG137A 1600W AC power supply module is a separate part and must be added to populate the system.

With 8 redundant -56V DC output ports, including 2 x 25A PoE-capable outputs, the RPS1600 helps keep PoE switches running if an internal power supply fails.
