Description

The HPE StoreEver LTO-8 Ultrium 30750 is an internal SAS tape drive in a 5.25-inch half-height form factor, built for backup and archive in rack and tower servers. This TAA-compliant model stores 12 TB native (30 TB compressed at 2.5:1) per cartridge, with a 300 MB/s native sustained transfer rate over a 6Gb/s dual-port SAS interface.

The drive reads and writes LTO-7 and LTO-8 media, and features hardware-based AES 256-bit encryption, LTFS support and WORM for compliance archiving. A 1024 MB buffer and data rate matching from 100 to 300 MB/s native help keep the drive streaming. It ships with a mini-SAS SFF8482 to SFF8087 cable for direct attach to an embedded SAS controller.
