The HPE BladeSystem c-Class 40G QSFP+ to 4x10G SFP+ direct attach copper splitter cable is a 3m passive breakout cable that fans a single 40GbE QSFP+ port out to four 10GbE SFP+ connections. It delivers a low-cost, low-latency, low-power alternative to optical transceivers for short-reach links within the rack or between adjacent racks.

The cable is fully loaded, with a QSFP+ transceiver at one end and four SFP+ transceivers at the other, so no separate optics are needed. It is designed for HPE BladeSystem c-Class deployments and supports InfiniBand protocol, making it suited to high-density server and switch interconnects.
