FAQs

Q: Is this printhead compatible with my MP Compact printer?
A: Yes, this OEM printhead fits Honeywell MP Compact series printers configured for 203 dpi. If your printer is a 300 dpi variant, use the matching 300 dpi printhead instead.

Q: What is IntelliSeAQ and how does it help?
A: IntelliSeAQ is Honeywell's printhead technology that helps maintain consistent print quality and supports printhead health monitoring and calibration, improving clarity and extending service life when used with proper media and cleaning.

Q: How do I install the replacement printhead?
A: Power off and unplug the printer, release the print mechanism, disconnect the old head, and connect the new printhead using the OEM connector. Lock it in place, then power on and run printhead/media calibration. Avoid touching the element surface and use ESD precautions.

Q: Do I need to replace the platen roller at the same time?
A: It's not mandatory, but recommended if the platen shows wear, glazing, or damage. A worn platen can reduce print quality and shorten the life of a new printhead.

Q: Is there a warranty on this printhead?
A: Yes, this genuine Honeywell spare part is covered by the manufacturer warranty. Warranty terms apply based on usage and proper maintenance.
