Description

The Fortinet SP-FG4K6K-FAN is a hot-swappable spare fan module for FortiGate FG-420xF, FG-440xF, FG-480xF and FG-6000F series firewalls. It lets you replace a failed or degraded fan tray while the firewall keeps running, so cooling can be restored without taking the chassis offline.

Each FortiGate 4200F and 4400F chassis uses three hot-swappable fan trays, and the chassis System Fan LED turns red on a fan error or low RPM, making a faulty unit easy to identify. This is an official Fortinet spare that suits high-end firewalls operating in an ambient temperature range of 0°C to 40°C.

Features

- Hot-swappable: replace without powering down the FortiGate
- Fan status shown by the chassis System Fan LED, which is red on fan error or low RPM
- Official Fortinet spare for high-end FortiGate chassis cooling
