Description

The SP-FG3040B-RAIL is a rack mount sliding rail kit for FortiGate firewall appliances, designed for selected models from the FG-1000C to FG-3600E range. It lets you install a compatible FortiGate chassis in a standard equipment rack and slide it out for servicing without removing the unit from the rack.

This kit supports a defined list of FortiGate models including the FG-1000C, FG-1200D, FG-1500D, FG-3040B, FG-3140B, FG-3240C, FG-3000D, FG-3100D, FG-3200D, FG-2200E, FG-3300E, FG-3400E and FG-3600E, including their DC variants where listed. It is not compatible with the FG-3700D and FG-3800D series, so check your appliance model before ordering.

Warranty

Fortinet provides robust warranty coverage for its hardware and software products, with durations and terms based on product category:
• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
