Description

The FortiVoice 50G2 is a desktop IP PBX phone system appliance built for small branches and offices. It provides 2 FXO and 2 FXS analog ports alongside 2 x 10/100 network ports, supports 50 endpoints and 8 VoIP trunks, and includes 8 GB of storage, making it a compact way to combine traditional telephone lines, analog extensions and VoIP in one unit. This is the hardware-only SKU.

With a FortiVoice Gateway, the appliance supports local survivable configuration so communications can stay available if the main connection is lost. In Local Survivable Gateway (LSG) mode, the 2 FXS ports automatically generate 2 analog extensions and 2 SIP trunks. It is a practical fit for distributed sites that need resilient telephony without a large footprint.

Warranty

• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
