Description

The Fortinet FortiGate Rugged 60F is a ruggedised industrial next-generation firewall for operational technology and industrial control system networks. It provides 4x GE RJ45 switch ports, 2x shared RJ45/SFP media pairs and a GE RJ45 bypass port pair between WAN1 and PORT4, with firewall throughput of up to 6 Gbps and IPS throughput of 950 Mbps. This model has no 3G/4G modem.

Powered by the Fortinet SoC4 processor, the FGR-60F supports IPS and application control for OT/ICS protocols and is managed through FortiOS with Security Fabric integration. Redundant dual 12V to 125V DC power inputs and fanless operation from -40 to 75 C suit it to substations, factory floors and other harsh sites, with desktop, DIN-rail and wall mounting options.

• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.

A: No. This model has no built-in cellular modem. It provides 4x GE RJ45 switch ports, 2x shared RJ45/SFP media pairs and a GE RJ45 bypass port pair.

Q: What is the bypass port pair used for?
A: A GE RJ45 bypass pair can be set up between WAN1 and PORT4 so traffic can continue to pass between those two ports if the unit loses power or fails.

Q: Can I use fibre uplinks with the FGR-60F?
A: Yes. It has 2 shared media pairs, each providing either a GE RJ45 port or an SFP slot, so you can use SFP modules for fibre connections.

A: It accepts 12V to 125V DC on redundant dual inputs, with negative or positive ground. Average consumption is 15 W and maximum is 21 W.

A: It is fanless and rated for operation from -40 to 75 C with 5% to 95% non-condensing humidity, making it suited to unconditioned industrial enclosures.
