Description

The FG-7081F-FAN is a hot-swappable replacement fan tray for the FortiGate 7081F 12U chassis. Each tray contains three fans, and the chassis uses three trays at the rear to draw cool air in from the front and exhaust warm air out the back. It suits both the FG-7081F-CH and FG-7081F-DC-CH chassis.

Fan speed is managed automatically by the active System Management Module (SMM), which monitors chassis temperature. A fan tray LED shows tray health at a glance, and four retention screws with a pull handle make a failed tray quick to swap while the chassis stays in service.
