Description

The Fortinet FG-7040E-PS-AC is a 1500W AC hot-swappable power supply module for FortiGate chassis-based firewalls. It accepts 100-240 VAC input at 50-60 Hz and provides redundant power for the FortiGate 7040E, which runs three modules in a 2+1 redundant configuration with an optional fourth unit.

This module is also listed as compatible with the FortiGate 7030E, 6300F/6301F, 6500F/6501F, 3500F/3501F, 3700F/3701F, 3900E, 3960E and 3980E platforms. It is not compatible with the FortiGate 7060E. The power cord (SP-FGPCORC15-XX) is not included and must be ordered separately.

Warranty

• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
