Description

The Fortinet FAP-431G-N is an indoor Wi-Fi 6E tri-band access point built for high-density enterprise wireless. Three radios cover the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands with 4x4 MU-MIMO and four spatial streams per radio, delivering up to 1148 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 4804 Mbps on 6 GHz. This N regional domain model uses internal antennas and includes 2x 5G RJ45 multi-gigabit ports and a USB Type-A port.

The FAP-431G-N is managed by the built-in WLAN controller on a FortiGate or by FortiEdge and FortiLAN Cloud, bringing wireless into the Fortinet Security Fabric. Integrated BLE and ZigBee support IoT and location services, while rogue AP scanning and WIDS/WIPS add wireless security. It is powered by 802.3at PoE or a 12 Vdc input and mounts to a ceiling, T-rail or wall. Availability of the 6 GHz band depends on local regulatory requirements.
