Description

The Fortinet FortiAP 231FL-N is an indoor Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) tri-radio wireless access point from the FortiAP F Series, built for business wireless deployments that need 2x2 MU-MIMO performance on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. It includes a third radio, internal antennas, two 10/100/1000 RJ45 ports, a USB Type-A port and an RS-232 RJ45 serial console port.

This is the -N variant, which does not include BLE or Zigbee support, making it a straightforward choice where only Wi-Fi coverage is required. The 2x 1GbE ports and RS-232 serial port suit managed rollouts in offices, schools and other indoor environments, with ceiling or wall mounting.

• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
