Description

The Aruba AP-615 (R7J49A) is an indoor campus Wi-Fi 6E access point from the Aruba 610 Series, built on a dual-radio, tri-band 2x2:2 MIMO design. Adding the 6 GHz band to 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz delivers up to 3.6 Gbps combined peak data rate, with up to seven 160 MHz channels in 6 GHz for high-capacity office and campus deployments. This RW regulatory domain model is intended for all regions except the US, Israel, Japan and Egypt, and uses integrated downtilt omni-directional antennas optimised for horizontal ceiling mounting.

The AP-615 includes a built-in GPS receiver and Fine Time Measurement (FTM) so access points can be located automatically, plus 2 x 1000/2.5G RJ45 ports and a USB 2.0 Type-A port. It is PoE powered, UL2043 plenum rated and ships with the mounting bracket pre-installed on the back of the unit. Management is available through Aruba Central or AirWave.

Features

- Wi-Fi 6E support unlocks the 6 GHz band, adding up to 1200 MHz of capacity
- Built-in GPS receiver and Fine Time Measurement (FTM) let access points be located automatically
- Cost-effective enterprise Wi-Fi 6E with wider channels and reduced power consumption
- Internal antennas are optimised for horizontal ceiling mounting
- Managed via Aruba Central or AirWave
