The Arista QSFP-40G-XSR4 is a 40GBASE-XSR4 QSFP+ optical transceiver designed for extended short-reach parallel multimode fibre deployments. Delivering 40 Gbps across four independent 10G lanes at 850nm via an MPO-12 UPC connector, it achieves up to 300m over OM3 MMF and 400m over OM4 MMF — three times the reach of standard SR4 transceivers. Ideal for high-density data centre interconnects where longer intra-building runs are required without moving to single-mode infrastructure.
