Description

The Arista QSFP-100G-SRBD is a 100GBASE-BiDi QSFP28 optical transceiver designed to deliver 100 Gbps over standard duplex multi-mode fibre, making it ideal for data centre, campus core, and enterprise network upgrades. Using BiDi technology, each LC duplex port carries simultaneous transmit and receive over a single fibre strand — effectively halving fibre consumption compared to traditional SR4 solutions. Supported on all Arista QSFP 100G ports, it reaches up to 70m over OM3 and 100m over OM4 MMF, enabling seamless reuse of existing duplex 10G/40G fibre infrastructure without recabling.

The transceiver operates at 2 x 50 Gbps PAM4 per port, consuming just 3.5W, and includes Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics. It is compatible with breakout configurations from Arista 400G-BIDI OSFP and QSFP-DD transceivers into 4x 100G-SRBD links.
