The Arista OSFP-800G-VSR8 is an 800G OSFP optical transceiver delivering 800Gbps aggregate throughput via 8 lanes of 100G PAM-4 signalling over a single MPO-16 APC connector. Designed for parallel multimode fibre (MMF) deployments, it reaches up to 50m on OM4 or 30m on OM3, making it ideal for AI fabric, HPC interconnects, and hyperscale cloud data centre top-of-rack to spine connectivity.

The OSFP form factor integrates a heatsink for superior thermal performance compared to QSFP-DD, and the module supports 4x 200G breakout via 1:2 fibre splitter cables for NIC interoperability, as well as interoperation with 2x 400G-VSR4 OSFP/QSFP-DD modules.
