Description

The APC AR8585 is a NetShelter trough adapter kit designed to route power distribution cabling across the top of a NetShelter SX enclosure. It is built for the Cisco Nexus 7018 (N7K-C7018) side airflow solution and provides the mounting locations needed for an overhead trough and partition cable management system.

A: It is designed for the Cisco Nexus 7018 (N7K-C7018) ducts and side airflow solution, and is used with NetShelter SX enclosures.

Q: What does the trough adapter kit do?
A: It routes power distribution cabling across the top of the enclosure and provides the mounting locations for the overhead trough and partition cable management system.

Q: Does it require tools to install the troughs and partitions?
A: No. The troughs and partitions install toollessly on the enclosure roof, and an installation guide is included.

Q: Will it fit enclosures other than NetShelter SX?
A: It is specified for use with NetShelter SX enclosures. Check enclosure compatibility before ordering for any other rack.

A: The overhead trough and partition system mounts directly on the enclosure roof, so separate ceiling-mounted or underfloor trays are not needed to manage the cabling.
