Description

The APC AP8953 is a single-phase, vertical Zero-U switched rack PDU from the NetShelter Rack PDU 2G range, delivering outlet-level remote on/off control, power sequencing and current metering on a 32A, 230V input. It provides 21 IEC C13 and 3 IEC C19 outlets, making it suited to dense server, storage and network racks that need remote power cycling and load visibility.

Outlet-level switching lets administrators reboot individual devices, restrict unauthorised use of outlets and stagger start-up to avoid in-rush overload. Management is available over Web, SNMP, Telnet and CLI, and the unit integrates with APC centralised management platforms.
