Description

The FortiGate 600E is a 1RU enterprise next-generation firewall delivering 36 Gbps of IPv4 firewall throughput, 10 Gbps IPS throughput and 9.5 Gbps NGFW throughput. It combines firewall, IPS, application control, VPN and threat protection in a single appliance, with 2x 10GE SFP+ slots, 8x GE SFP slots and 8x GE RJ45 interfaces for flexible campus, data centre edge and large branch deployments. This FG-600E model has no local storage; the FG-601E sibling adds 2x 240 GB SSD.

SPU NP6 network processors and CP9 content processors accelerate traffic, keeping latency to 2 microseconds while handling 8 million concurrent sessions and 450,000 new sessions per second. FortiOS provides integrated SSL inspection, 20 Gbps IPsec VPN, SSL-VPN, high availability and integration with the Fortinet Security Fabric, and the unit ships with 2x 1GE SX SFP transceivers.

• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
