The Arista QDD-400G-XDR4 is a 400G QSFP-DD optical transceiver designed for high-density data centre and carrier interconnects over parallel single-mode fibre. Delivering 400Gbps aggregate throughput across four 100G optical channels at 1310nm, it uses PAM4 modulation with a gearbox DSP to convert 8x50G electrical lanes to 4x100G optical lanes — supporting link distances up to 2km via an MPO-12 APC connector.
