The Arista OSFP-400G-SR8-C is a 400GBASE-SR8 OSFP transceiver module designed for high-density data centre deployments requiring flexible 400G connectivity over parallel OM4 multimode fibre. Using an MPO-16 APC connector and 8 independent 50Gbps PAM-4 optical channels at 850nm, it delivers a full 400Gbps aggregate rate up to 100m on OM4 MMF (70m on OM3). The '-C' channelised variant adds software-configurable breakout support for 8x 50G-SR, 8x 25G-SR, 2x 200G-SR4, and 2x 100G-SR4 modes — making it highly versatile for evolving spine-leaf and hyperscale fabric architectures.
